My dental treatment was amazing! I had thorough checks, an x-ray, a second opinion from another nurse as well as some work done on my tooth. This isn't my usual dental practice as I was booked in for an urgent appointment. The dentists were so friendly, welcoming and professional. They explained everything so well, answered any questions I had and were so caring. They made a referral for me and explained this in great detail too. Best dentists I have ever been seen by! I would give credit to their names, however I don't know them. Such a shame the practice is so far away from me otherwise I would have loved to become a regular patient there!
One dentist told me I didn't grind my teeth I do, extremely hard - I had to provide video evidence. The dentist was then unavailable and no longer employed at the surgery. Another dentist ripped out of of my teeth and the pain was so bad I had to go back in agony to have further anesthetic he put his knee on me for purchase I was told for almost a year that I would be seen by an NHS dentist I wasn't, I asked to see a dentist privately as I ground a hole in my tooth and was told to buy dental putty I have since joined a new practice. Fingers crossed this will work out better than this lot!
I was booked in this morning for a tooth extraction with Kate Holt. I was a bag of nerves and have been dreading this. Kate and her assistant were amazing. They put me at ease the minute i walked into the room. Kate explained everything and put me at such ease with her kind and reassuring words that my nerves disappeared and i felt very relaxed. My injection was pain free after she had applied the 'magic gel'. Two minutes later my tooth was out. I felt nothing and was still waiting for her to begin! I was in shock that it was out so quickly and pain free. Never again will i worry about a tooth extraction, i wish i had it taken out ages ago now. Kate was fantastic, very professional, kind and caring. Her assistant deserves a mention too as she put me at ease and helped me relax. I still cannot believe how easy it was. Thank you so much, i will never worry again as long as i can see Kate!
I am a very nervous patient who requires quite a lot of dental work. Kate is a wonderful dentist who is always kind and patient and goes at my pace and makes me feel so comfortable when there. Paula always answers the phone in a cheery way and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would 100% recommend the practice.
Useless I had a merryland bridge fitted . It fell out after two weeks . Second time it fell out I called them and they couldn't get me in for three months . In the meantime I went to Poland and got it done professionally and it looks great. Houston and most NHS dentists are a complete waste of time standards are so low , they cancell appointments made 6 months piar they have no pride I eat they do and they basically the Mickey out of people .
Being a nervous dental patient I was worried about changing my dental practice, due to my own dentist retiring. I needn't have worried. I was greeted by Georgina, a dental nurse and dentist, Barry Breslin. What a team they make. I was instantly put at ease and treated with the greatest respect. Barry talked me through the procedure and put my mind at ease. They were very kind and understanding. Just what I needed. Thank you
Over a year without an appointment now after multiple cancellations and they NEVER answer their phone. We’ve gone elsewhere now.

I came for a exam with Dr Barry Breslin and his nurse Georgina and was very impressed. Barry is very welcoming and during my exam explained everything very clearly to me. I am normally a nervous patient, however was completely at ease and more than happy to return to the pratice to see Barry for further treatment. Reception staff Liness and Paula are both very lovely and welcoming. Paula came to my car to give me my paperwork and she was very professional and lovely, made me feel very comfortable before even entering the practice! The practice is very safe to attend as all staff are wearing masks and your temperature is taken upon arrival and asked to use sanitizer. If you are looking for a Private dentist would without doubt recommend Dr Breslin, however the Nailsea practice also have fantastic NHS dentist which I believe are accepting new patients.
Absolute disgrace, booked in for an ‘emergency appointment’ a month ago due to a swollen gum with an abscess after previously being told I need a root canal, went in for the ‘emergency appointment’ the dental nurse saw me for 2 minutes and told me what I already know, said I don’t need antibiotics because it isn’t swollen right now, £23 for a check up that I have already had and didn’t do anything. Disgusting, robbery, could lose my tooth and they won’t sort it out because I am ‘not registered’ because I haven’t been to the dentist for 2 years… while we’ve been in lockdowns & all other restrictions. had to take a day off work to go to this appointment for nothing, do not use this dentist, complete con and money takers. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star review. Should have walked out & not paid. To add on the book the appointment I had to speak to 111 and they directly told me to book this ‘emergency appointment’ and that the root canal would be done to fix the problem.
