"We are a family run pub in the beautiful village of Ringley. We are close to the river Irwell as well as once situated on the edge of the canal, where we were 1 of only 2 pubs along the old canal. We are on a number of recognised walks including the Kingfisher trail. We serve homecooked food with our homemade cheese n onion pie being really popular as well as our minted lamb Henry. We have a 5 star cask marque accreditation for our real ales."

Lovely pub with nice walks around. Great home made food and not overpriced. Dogs allowed in the pet friendly pub area. A bit small area and tables in this section but enough to enjoy a really nice meal. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We came down for my mums 45th Birthday and had a great time. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was really nice - the starters were larger than expected which is good for the price and the food was good too. Can't wait to come back again.

A nice pub and decent food too. I have to say that I prefer table service when ordering, with payment after the meal. This is not the case here. You first find a table. Then go to the bar to order and pay. I know many places are like this, but it just takes the edge off the experience.Food: 4/5
Had a great family meal on Sunday for mums 90th staff really friendly. Some of us had starters and had the main menu some opted for Sunday roast. Thanks for a lovely afternoon Wheelchair accessibility: Great access from car park to dining area . Also good wc facilities

Nice pub, good service and friendly to cyclists as it is in the middle of several cross country routes, very nice historic church next door too.
We initially thought we might not get a table looking at the pub from the outside, however, it is deceptively big inside. We found a table, ordered and were served lunch within 30 minutes. The food was excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive. We have already recommended the place to friends and we will definitely be going back soon.
