Been before for evening meals and always impressed, however today we popped in for a quick sandwich at lunchtime. As in the evening, staff friendly and welcoming and the lunchtime menu was very comprehensive. I thoroughly recommend the fish finger sandwiches, just a little more up market than my childhood memories, but equally tasty.

Two sirloin steaks cooked to perfection and a bottle of house white (not cheap plonk either) for 35 quid. What's not to like. See you next week.

The Horse in Shepshed is a public House and restaurant. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The food is lovely and they have a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits . You would struggle to find fault with this establishment

The food is excellent,  beers good and they have live bands. So it's all good!

Went for a surprise birthday meal . All very nice but lost one star for food being abit on the cold side .
