I praise God for the fact that there is a church like the Hope that exists and that there appears to be a healthy attendance of people. The volunteers that we met were all very wonderful, kind and attentive people. Praise that the hand of God is moving people in Taiwan to seek His ways out. I pray for the leadership that is sheparding the church. There is passion and awe of God and His word, but I pray that the ways of living for God are imparted upon those that attend. Charismatic speech is good for emotion, but a firm foundation in the Lord leads the people to eternal life.
Went there with my mom, wife, and our son yesterday! It was so awesome to see a church so packed that you have to wait in line outside to get into in Taiwan! Praise God for that!! And even tho it seems like a mega church! The staffs are very attentive and observant to our needs and wants! The pastor was funny and the preaching was powerful! He really did a great job. However, we do not believe that females should be pastor. But, that’s not gonna stop us from coming and worship God!
Nice church Great bilingual services at 9:30 AM every Sunday. Friendly people that try to make people feel they belong there. Expats are welcome to join monthly events hosted by the English ministry.
Incredible service here. The service is held in the OMNI Nightclub, and it was so great! Staff was extremely welcoming as was the pastor. Beautiful message delivered in English and Mandarin. This is a great Christian church to attend if you’re new to the area and are looking for a fun place to worship Jesus! I had so much fun here, looking forward to coming back!
The Hope is a welcoming place to all people from all walks of life. It is a place of belonging as I've found my home here in Taipei. It has connected me with a lot of relationships here and friends. Pastor Peter and his leadership team here really have a mission to serve the people of this church and the greater community. I am a big fan of this place and can't wait to see what God has planned for them in the coming years!

I’ll say something HONEST in the review below so please be sure to read! This is the best church I ever attend! They have a great worship and preaching, the God’s message brought by Pastor Peter are really clear, understandable, helpful, powerful and well..? his Chinese is really suitable for everyone especially for a non-chinese natives like me since he won’t really use too many idioms or like any hard-level Chinese church I’ve ever attend before Thanks Pastor Peter! Firstly I attended this church because it’s bilingual, I’d like to improve my Chinese so that I could bring the word of God to the local non-believer, especially my Taiwanese friends. Already here since 2019 and though I already went back to Indonesia since 2022, I still feel like missing this church so much and that is why I keep my serving even though it’s just online, but you know how hard it is to serve people you can’t see and meet directly, people from around the world are coming here even if it’s just through Youtube, and that’s what the HOPE strives to do their best until now… So after reading some of the reviews here, especially those bad reviews, I wouldn’t say that they’re telling a lie, and of course no ONE and not even a church will be 100% perfect in this world, there will be some praises and critics at the same time and it’s normal! Some churches do good at A and the others do good at B, no specific comments on this. Only God Himself know what we really are. I will say The HOPE did very good at the worship, preaching and online services since I found no other church can do the same as what I feel here, at least till now not even in my home country, otherwise I should have had rooted on a local church here! And I will say that maybe some people feel that the church has a bad communication with the people, or some said that they are not very responsive to every personal issue, or the small group system might need to be improved more such as the effectiveness and the group quality that varies between every small group I also feel it but again.. it’s very understandable and I know that they are also struggling with finding the suitable and rooted leaders and workers to handle those many groups, and every people that has a special request or question that they need to respond quickly. You know that the bible said “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” is exactly coming in real life. So, we are no one to criticize them of not doing really good in this part. I’ll just do my part helping them instead of cursing their bad such as, giving a good feedback and suggestions, and keep praying that God will work on this issue and help the church to keep growing but still being effective for everyone needs. Some of their neighbors might also feel disturbed by the sound or crowds on Sunday just between morning and afternoon outside the normal sleeping time, I would say that those people should try to live in an area which has mosque everywhere, and we will still respect them even if we would hear they’re praying loudly by the speaker at midnight and 4:00 A.M, 5-6 times a day and EVERYDAY, wanna try it? The same as that I hate smoke but I’m forced to respect those who smokes near me. Well people are living together in this world and what you think is unacceptable, is very acceptable for some people IN NEED, and we still have to respect everyone. Do you know what is the reason that they won’t let guests coming in out during a period of times in services till someone who really need to leave early needs to be hold for a while? It’s barely because of the over-sensitive neighbors who complains over the church sound in Sunday noon So does everyone still say they aren’t care about every single thing happened? Yes, they can’t please everybody guys, even you as well Only God knows the real struggle and issues they really had, and it’s sometimes unseen. God and Church is not a people pleaser. Our part is just being a support for the church and grateful to God in anytime. Thank you God and thank you The HOPE and teams!

So we just wanted to say that we absolutely loved this church and the people! They were soooooo inviting and so filled with love and kindness ! Unfortunately we will not be making this our church home for a couple of reasons. The biggest would be the members are so young...probably in their 20's. It seemed like a young adults service. The other reason is they don't have a true english speaking only service and that would be tough for me since I don't speak chinese. But if you're young and are bilingual this is the church for you! We love you Hope Church!!!
My friends and I attended this church today. My friend has a medical emergency and tried to leave to use the restroom. The doorman wouldn’t let him open the door and leave in the middle of service. This is very cultish and it endangered his life. I am extremely saddened by what happened. I will never come here again and I would never recommend anyone to come. No staff should force guests to stay.
