This establishment really surprised us. We wanted to go somewhere nice for breakfast/brunch and this popped up as a recommendation.nIt surpassed all expectations we could have had for this place - coffee was amazing, food was delicious and the staff really hospitable.nOne of the best establishments in Penzance for sure and one of the best breakfast places I've been and this would include travels to Barcelona as well.nHighly recommend.
You can feel the love and dedication in this small establishment. Overwhelmingly surprised, well priced, incredible lunch, skillfully made drinks and a calming, relaxing atmosphere.nnThank you for a wonderful lunch on our last day in Cornwall.
The food was excellent but service was a bit haphazard.nWe were seated pretty quickly in a busy Tuesday lunch time during term time, it took ages to get some menus - we got up and asked if we could take some as it was taking so long.nThere wasn’t really any service with a smile, they were so rushed off their feet that food and drink were almost thrown down on the table. We could hear the chef shouting at the staff in the back too.nDespite this, the food really was great. The jerk chicken on a flat bread was very filling, a little spice and accompanied well. The brunch sandwich was a decent size and made with excellent ingredients. The child jacket potato was also cooked well and even though it said it was half a jacket it turned up a full one!nThe cakes on the counter looked amazing and we would have ordered one if we weren’t so full from our lunch!
Really lovely coffee with lots of choice, very tasty food and extremely friendly staff. It is very nicely and cosily furnished and the food is fresh and home-made. An absolute recommendation!
Delicious food and very reasonable prices for Cornwall. The iced coffee was one of the best I’ve ever had and I make coffee for a living! Vegan options were really good too! It’s nice to have more than 1 thing to choose from
