What a gem of a pub. Quite literally the best sunday roast I have ever had. We were seated in a love private dining hut, cosy and cute! Staff were excellent, food was outstanding! We shall definitely be back!
Fabulous Sunday lunch at this beautiful pub in the Cotswolds. The arancini was insanely good, we should have ordered more of it! The catch of the day was a chalk stream trout, lovely, the cockles were a cute addition to the plate. The roast lamb with trimmings including a fab Yorkshire pud was delicious too. I ate dessert alone and quite happily & quickly put away the brownies with honeycomb & caramel, without help from my partner! Highly recommend this dog friendly pub in Witney, really nice garden & private eating rooms out the back as well. Decent Bloody Mary did I mention that x
New chef, New exciting menu. The food was absolutely amazing, we loved our dining experience here at The Hollybush. We sat in the garden terrace to eat under a candlelit canopy. Lots of private dining huts and outside tables for dining and drinking. Great staff, interactive and attentive even when busy. Highly recommended place to eat in Witney, finally a smart, chic but relaxed restaurant comes to town!
Top quality restaurant/pub. Kind young lad Charlie, as well as Alex, made us feel like home. And the food was pretty much awesome, so awesome I forgot to take more pictures when the mains arrived. Hollybush was an experience to remember, along visiting the beautiful Cotswold villages.
Beautifully cooked food. Amazing flavours and a high standard of amazing products. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The sliced beef was perfect and melted in my mouth. We were well looked after by Gerrad who made us feel welcome and well attended to. Great atmosphere and decor 5Food: 5/5
Great food and good service. Our waiter was polite and friendly and recommend the bavette steak, I'm glad I took the recommendation as it was a beautifully cooked steak with bags of flavour. One star away from perfection, service overall was a little slow, not unbearable but noticeable, and some of the other diners were a bit rowdy, in the sense of being loud and swearing a lot, while it was obvious to the staff and most of the restaurant nothing was done, which is a shame as it's a bit out of their control. Overall though I'd happily return and try more of their tasty food.
Had a fantastic Sunday lunch, couldn't be more welcoming on arrival, very busy and the service was great. The beef sirloin was cooked to perfection, Absolute gem of a place. Already re booked for a few weeks time. Well done the Hollybush
Absolutely amazing. The pods are so cute and lovely to celebrate a special birthday in. Amazing food, wonderful staff. Can't wait to go again.
Rang ahead for a last minute booking. Exceptional food and service. Advertised as a Gastro-pub but the food and drink was top notch and delighted with our meal and price. Heard several people cancelling booking on the phone last minute. No idea of the circumstances but this place is Covid aware. Social distancing, sanitisers, contact tracing and online menus all mean you can come and enjoy your meal/occasion without worry. Would definitely recommend a visit
We went to the holly bush as heard about their burger buddies deal, 2 burgers for the price of one on thursdays what a steal! We both had the butter milk burgers with house fries and it was so moist and tasty We will defo be back to try other things on the menu
