We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Beautifully furnished with a really comfortable bed. Enjoyed our cosy nights in front of the fire. Only a 20 minute walk down the lane into the village of Heptonstall which has 2 lovely pubs and a fabulous cafe. We were lucky to have a clear night where we could star gaze without any light pollution. Loved watching the sheep at the bottom of the garden, the ducks running across the lane and hearing the owl outside in the evening. We left with tired legs, full stomachs and soothed souls. Paula and Nick are fabulous hosts would highly recommend.

The hideaway is a gorgeous cottage that is situated within a short distance from Hebden Bridge. The cottage has all the home comforts that you need, and is very tastefully decorated. The views are stunning of the countryside, and allows you to connect with nature. The hosts are very welcoming and on hand if you need them. There is lots to be seen in the nearby vicinity and some great pubs and tea rooms.nWith the added bonus of being dog friendly, a great time was had by both two and four legged friends.nLooking forward to returning to enjoy the Yorkshire hospitalitynThroughly recommend

Heaven on earth! There are not enough words to describe the beauty of The Hideaway. After a very stressful season of life I was in need of a respite. I stayed over a week by myself and came away deeply restored.  Every detail has been taken care of from the beautiful linens on the bed, the well stocked kitchen, and so many suggestions from the hosts to take advantage of this extraordinary area. I took long walks, explored beautiful shops and galleries, and spent a lot of time in the well tended garden taking in the ever changing view. If I could give ten stars, I would! I will be back!

The Hideaway is a fabulous cottage. Very comfy & cosy, with lovely added extras.nThe view from the cottage is just beautiful as is the surrounding area.nThe Hideaway manual provided by Nick & Paula is very helpful & informative.nWe would highly recommend a stay there and hope to visit again.

Really good booking system. Clear communication with lots of information on accommodation and things to do when you arrive. We received a welcome call on the day of arrival and there was a lovely welcome pack. Cottage was spotless and bedding, cutlery,towels and soap etc of a very high standard. Bed very comfortable. Easy access by bus to Hebden Bridge.  Hosts very responsive to any messages sent. We will definitely be returning.
