Fantastic little find. Not suitable for young children due to lots of step drops and holes to fall into. Be prepared to climb, crawl and explore get muddy and have fun. You can park very close by the Druids Inn pub. And the caves are just behind the pub.nI think everyone should stop off at the pub and get a drink before or after visiting the caves as they allow people to access the caves though there property. Plus you will be needing a drink after the climbing about.nAs there is no easy access it is not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility as no real paths to follow and small gaps to squeeze though.nIf you want to explore the caves you will need a proper touch as the light on your phone will not be enough to see everything.nThere are multiple levels, entrances caves, tunnels and carvings to find. Take time to explore keep young kids close by as there are several drops which would cause significant injury. But don't be put off as the kids will love the experience.
Easy to reach, right behind Druid pub, interesting to wander round and explore the caves, great views across the valley from the top
We had so much fun trying out the rocks I will be back to send the climbs soon!
Great place to visit the terrain is steep in places and the foliage is overgrown in places so good walking shoes is a must.nnThe caves are not to far from the Druids Inn Pub there is a gate to the side of the pub with a trail that takes around 5 minutes to get to the cave or you can walk the long way around which I did which took like 30 minutes climbing over rocks.
A must see if you're in Derbyshire.
