The whole Heights of Abraham visit was brilliant. We loved the cable car trip to the top and the 2 cave visits were so interesting and some superb features. The film show was very informative and the views superb. Definitely recommend
Need to be reasonably fit to enter as a number of steps. In my opinion tour was a bit dry. It's more of a light and audio show rather than looking at underground features. If you are after mining history then this tour could be interesting.nPart of Abraham Heights which you get to via cable car.
We had a great day out at Heights of Abraham, with an informative tour of this and the smaller tavern. Both guides were excellent and shared their knowledge.nThe park has many walking trails and excellent views over the valley, we also loved the cable car ride. The park is dog friendly, but not the caverns, it is also very steep so be aware.nBuy you tickets online before you go for a bit of a saving.
This is part of the Heights of Abraham attraction - we found a discount by buying the ticket online and using public transport show your bus/train ticket at the entrance with your pre-booked QR code.nWe have visited a couple of times before over the years. The cave tour is informative, helping you to understand the geological and social change that took place during the Industrial Revolution, Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian periods. The clothing exhibit highlights this social change.nnIt seems expensive £28.50 for what is a very small site, with steep gradients and limited activities which the tour hosts allude to.nnIt was spotlessly clean on our visit. There is an extensive children's play area. The cable car is the stand-out feature, with the stunning scenery as a backdrop. The view is spectacular, especially when you have climbed the tower.nnWe had a relaxed time, but sadly, it seems the 2023 inflation and cost of living crisis has pushed prices for many attractions like this to a point where you question its value 6 Adults = £171, hence our review rating.
Wonderful. A bit short but added to all of the other things to do at the top of the cable car it's not to be missed! Hint - the recommended car park can get very busy, but the Temple Walk Car park is about 15 minutes walk away so don't panic if, like us, you've got pre booked tickets for the cable car and can't get parked.
