Please read the update below. Great food, it's a fact, it's the best chinese in the area and a young lady on the counter who is very impressive, she's quick, efficient and worthy of a much better job. UPDATE. It has to be said that recently, the Hidden Dragon have become ridiculously expensive. Here are a couple of examples, chicken curry extra hot and egg fried rice, £8.50 I think, golden bridge £6.20, no additional charge for the extra heat, Hidden Dragon charge £0.50 for a chilli, sweet and sour chicken balls with curry sauce instead, plus an extra curry sauce and rice, £11.70, golden bridge £9.80. When I complained they were just too expensive, he said everything's gone up; your prices have but golden bridge didn't get the memo so their prices are still very reasonable, shame on you for charging so much, it's just greedy.
Ordered this evening got home several items missing the women on the phone very rude agreed to send missing items after 20 mins nothing returned the food for a full refund she stated she’s busy it’s not good enough got the money back went else where would not recommend.very poor service the lady is vey rude and blocked my number and then hung up in my partner give Irma a wide berth
Didn't enjoy any of meal. Salt pepper chips soggy awful, king prawn chow mean dry and crispy noodles instead. Chilli meal no spice. Will never come back and will advice others to avoid

Tried Hidden Dragon for the first time tonight, and was thoroughly impressed. Quick friendly service in store, piping hot food even after a 10 min walk home. Really fresh, expertly prepared veg in the dishes, meat of good quality. Really good value for money. Will definitely be my Chinese takeaway of choice from now on. Thank you for a really good, faultless Chinese meal.
Have been using Hidden Dragon for many years, but tonight’s meal was outstanding. Absolutely beautiful.
Counter staff is rude!! The curry got no flavour, the ribs is over cook, noodle is fine, chip and aromatic duck can throw into rubbish bin, the best thing is the pop, is cold.... when you only have moderate food level do improve your customer service ...
Found a Dead bug in my food. Absolutely disgusting. Would never eat there again
We had regular takeaway every Friday night and sometimes in the week as well which was lovely for a while but the beef in the beef curry was then served tough, rubbery/chewy and not nice and we have stopped going - such a shame!
Food excellent staff are very friendly and helpful and polite and very welcoming
