NB photos included .. Right ..... I considered leaving zero star rating but I don't want to be unfair . I will give it one star because the tandoori chicken was delicious.. Don't get carried away though, because that's it! first impression on entering the premises was, disgustingly filthy.. The local authority hygiene rating on lets eat says five stars, but the one in the shop says four stars. How the hell anyone with any kind of standards could rate that as 4 stars is beyond me.. that having been said, god knows when the certificate was actually issued. I ordered... onion bhajis, tandoori chicken & chips plus a peshwari naan ok, I admit the chicken was well cooked & really tasty, top marks.. it could though have been mistaken in terms of size for a large parrot. It was in one of those foil bags and that was it.. just 2 portions of very small AA chicken. Every time I ever had tandoori chicken before, it came with juicy succulent marinated onions in the bag. The naan was in a same sized foil bag and again half the size of anything I ever had before. and virtually no fruit at all... Extremely disappointing. Now the bhajis... all I can say is .. bunch of expletives These things were dried up discs, squashed flat to fit into the plastic tub?. Not the usual fluffy, lightly crisped fist sized balls of loveliness that we come to expect. The salad....well, the salad I didn't risk eating , as it was the only bit that hadn't been cooked., suffice to say it was half the size of anything i'd had before. I'm not saying it was bad ..but if you saw the shop, I don't think you'd risk it either. And last but not least ..the Chips.. or should I say, the French fries, to be more precise, the half cooked French fries. at last, a proper man size portion of something. Not the good old fashioned English chips that i'd hoped for, but these peaky sickly looking foreign imposters. Will Not be going here again.
