Terrible. Bought a product, realising as we left the shop that we had been over charged. We went back in minutes after, and was told the product had been mis advertised and was more expensive than shown on label. then when we tried to exchange for the smaller size which correlated to original label, we were refused. Shop assistant was most unhelpful and did a terrible job at explaining the situation to her manage and refused to let us speak with her manager and explain. We are following this up with the manager via email. Certainly won't recommend this place.
Hi, I just visited the health food co by kirkgate market and purchased a box of floravital vegan. The price tag on the shelf listed it as 13.99 and, upon leaving the shop, I realised I'd been charged 21.99. I went straight back inside and queried this. Turns out your price tags were incorrect on the shelf. I asked to exchange the product for the smaller size as I wanted to spend 13.99, not 21.99. The staff rang management and then denied me the exchange. My receipt is attached. To clarify, the product left the shop for less than 10 seconds before I realised I'd been overcharged. I just didnt want to spend the extra tenner but was denied any exchange and compensation.
Can't recommend this place enough, Kanchan is very knowledgeable and will always ask for everything you're currently taking to help her recommend products to help with what you are wanting and to avoid offering anything that would not be beneficial to you. she has helped me solve issues with sleep via supplements that i was not getting enough of through my diet.

thankyou so much to the gorgeous lady kanchan, who helped me and my boyfriend! she really made sure we both got what we needed to stay in good health. deffo ask for kanchan when you go in she's so well educated and knowledgeable! she really created a safe environment to ask questions and express health concerns! also incredibly neurodivergent friendly and very understanding, we both can't thank you enough !
Absolutely devastated. I am only 16 and was served over the counter weight loss pills. However these weren’t any weight loss pills, they are pills that are NOT FOR WOMEN and are known to cause HEART PROBLEMS AND OTHER HEALTH COMPLICATIONS. So I took the product T9 black fury weight loss pills back to the store and they refused a refund. I am absolutely disgusted. Would definitely not recommend. Also to add to this appalling experience the cashier person who served me the pills had no idea what she was doing and clearly had no knowledge of the product. I am willing to take this further.
I've been a steady customer for years. The variety and quality is unrivalled. They'll always give good advice and are never pushy. Prices are very very reasonable and there are ACTUAL herbs in this lovely shop that's packed with good stuff - forget the mainstream, go with the bespoke.
A hidden gem! Have only fairly recently started shopping here and I wish I'd done so much much sooner! The selection is superb. All the food that I've bought from here so far just tastes so much better than the supermarket rubbish that I've been buying for years. The prices are good too - much better value than other health food retailers. The staff are friendly and helpful. I look forward many more repeat visits.
Great selection of dried herbs, Dried fruits & nuts, herbal teas, various organic natural alternative condiments, grains ect and lots of supplements too, aswell as natural alternative shampoos/bodycare and more.
