A large Greene King boozer in the middle of Canvey, it was practically empty when I went in for a quick pint during midweek when I was passing.nThey were advertising a few different music nights for the weekends ahead so at least it's trying to get people in.
My sister, my Nephew and I went for Karaoke on Thursday 21st Dec, we always go for our Birthdays.nThe videos were from August, that's my sister Manda singing nI can't give stars for food, as we didn't have any.nThe loos are a bit naf and the drinks are pretty expensive but the atmosphere is great, we always have a good time, the bands they have on there are brilliant too but I can't always afford to go.
My first time here today, bar lady seems miserable, I was waiting around 3 mins to get served, being the only person at the bar. I totally understand that the bar attended Woman is busy at the back, but could I at least get some kind of acknowledgment? Hello, I will be with you in a min or so, would go down nicely. Then when I ordered, she holds out the card reader and looks at me, I asked her how much? Isn’t she suppose to tell me? Can you see where I am coming from? The places I normally go, these things don’t happen.nnAs for atmosphere, the pub is real great, you get that pub smell and feeling. It reminds me of the old days which today’s pubs don’t have.nnYes, I will be turning.
We had sunday Roast. Do gluten free which was very good..great service.
Good food and drink.nselection. Nice retreat while the wife goes shopping.
