This is best cafe in Sandbanks. Just by the Sandbanks chain ferry on the Poole side. Been here many times while visiting. Fast friendly service providing great food and hot and cold drinks to eat in or takeaway. Wide range of breakfast and lunch choices and all day breakfasts with great coffee.

From an otherwise lovely day getting on the haven ferry to a great walk on shell bay, the haven cafe was the only negative. It had just started snowing so I ran in the cafe at 2:15pm for warmth and a tea to warm me up. I was told they were closing in 15 minutes even though it says 3:30pm on the door. Bus wasn't until 3:10 and its sub zero temperatures outside but I was told they were closing up , I made a jokey innocent comment about staying in the warm until my bus arrived but I was told in quite a rude manner that they all wanted to go home so I must go. It was quite insulting. I understand that they wanted to go home but it doesn't justify the rudeness. Shame it seems to be the only cafe in the area. I wouldn't go there again.
