A nice location. Food and drinks good. Worth checking the opening hours as these can are seasonal dependent. The cafe often also runs a kiosk service when the main restaurant is closed. The phone number is on the website.

Nicely placed cafe on the sandbanks , but the place lacks an ambiance to match the exclusive views of Studlands and the perbecks landscape. Food can be good, but you have to be selective in your choice of dishes.

Come here for its fantastic setting right on the beach, watching the waves rolling in..... However food and fit out are average in comparison. Nice coffee.

The only positive I can say about the sankbanks beach cafe is that it's in a great location. After a refreshing walk along sankbanks on a windy day I thought it would be ideal to stop at the cafe to enjoy a nice hot beverage. Unfortunately when ordering my drink I was met with quite a rude member of staff. After saying what I would like, he didn't acknowledge my order but Instead just turned around to make my drink and start talking to his colleague in another language. Once I had collected my drink I then went looking for a table to sit at only to find that which ever table I looked at it appeared as though they hadn't been wiped clean and were in fact sticky. So sat down to have my drink only to find it was only warm, powdery and could easily make better with my eyes closed . While sat there drinking my luke warm drink I watched staff as they just seem to be standing there doing absolutely nothing. I also find it really unprofessional when someone from the kitchen comes shuffling out to help herself to the soda machine while customers are standing there waiting to place their orders and then stands in view while drinking and also doing nothing. The only two people doing anything were the chef preparing people's food and the person collecting the dirty plates. The other five employees just seemed to be standing around doing nothing. Granted it wasn't the busiest but even still make yourself look busy and wipe the tables at least. Overall really disappointed as you'd expect a lot better for your money and the location. As a result I probably won't be making another visit.
