I had a chicken and onion pizza and it was great. Chef let me try the hot sauce before hand to check it wasn't going to be too hot. Service was fast and the price was compatible to any other pizza place in a city.
Pleasantly surprised to find a noodle bar at George Best Belfast City Airport. I had the beef noodles and they were fresh and the meal had plenty of beef. Makes a nice refreshing change to a naff sandwich. I paid £8.75 so pretty fair for some freshly cooked food and for airport prices. Definitely a nice change.
I asked for a cooked breakfast. What I got was a half cooked breakfast. Beans were cold, bacon boiled, bread not toast.. the quality of the food was poor at best. Astonishing prices. £10 for a terrible breakfast. Best go to Starbucks next time.
Most unpleasant staff apart from one young dark haired girl who appeared to be new to the place. Hope the attitude of the rest of the staff doesn"t rub off on her! The breakfast baps were not very nice although the fried eggs and brown bread looked good. Won't be back there again mainly because of the awful customer service.
Absolutely awful. Love NI but not this place. Really limited gluten free options, state bread, we ordered Foccaia bread and got served a ciabatta and the server couldn't be bothered to roast the tomotos. Also, I know airports are naturally more expensive, but what we paid was outrageous for what we got. With hindsight would have definitely gone to Starbucks instead.
food was mediocre but the customer service was appalling. Had the gentleman serving this morning been out in the high street serving they would have been disciplined before the morning was finished. I don't know who the line manager was, or if there was 1, but this gentleman should have been taken off front of house immediatley. They possiblt had personal issues that morning but that should not be a reasin to be rude to customers. The customer in front asked for a fry without tomatoes or mushrooms and asked for a sausage in replace.... he might as well have been asking for a kidney. There was toast slapped off a plate, some if which ended on the floor and wasn't replaced for that customer. There was a bean shortage, which can happen, but was implied with a gruff scottish tone that we take it or leave it . When a customer returned to see if additonal beans were available, he was told in no uncertain terms that as already explained beans take time to heat and wont be available. After intervention by the rwceptionist an additonal egg was added. When you're paying £8.95 for a simple plain fry, you would expect to get the components of it, or at least if a shortage be offered something else, or jus offered to wait a few minutes until the components were ready. The porridge arrived without honey, something again that can happen, but through fear of additonal hostile verbal rebuke and pouring petrol onto the simmering Scottish temper, we decided not to ask for it to be applied. We sat at the window seat, from this viewpoint we could see if things changed. After 20 minutes of continued hostile service, they did change with a change in personnel, although still some shortages in items this individual conducted themselves with the professionalism you would expect. 1 individual had a profoundly negative effect on the 30 plus customers he dealt with, not the warm sending off you would want tourists to get.
Appalling service at this “restaurant “. Staff were ignorant and extremely unfriendly. We stood for over 10 minutes to be served and even though there were at least five servers behind the food counter, we were totally ignored. In the end we gave up & I opted for a pre made sandwich. My husband went hungry. Never again! They don’t even deserve a one star review.
Dreadful service and food: It took 20 minutes to make a bacon egg and sausage "bap", which wasn't a bap at all but two slices of stale white bread masquerading as toast. It wasn't even beginning to brown, and it had no butter on it. The bacon was like cardboard. We also ordered a bacon sandwich, and that too, took 20 minutes to arrive and the bacon was inedible it was so hard. Altogether a very unpleasant experience
Been here and had a bad breakfast experience previously, fully intended never to return but the Bushmills bar next door was full. Tried to keep an open mind but same issues again - incomplete orders and scowled at/challenged when I tried to point out what was missing. Another customer just a few minutes later had a similar issue, and received similar treatment. Such a disappointment at the end of an otherwise fantastic trip to NI.
So disappointed - could and should be much better. The cafe was recently refurbished but it looks exactly the same and the staff continue to be miserable. It took 20 minutes to serve a breakfast from the hot counter.
