Great pub, looks after the locals while being accomodating to new comers. Bar staff are lovely and always smiling. Pool and darts as well as a good quiz every Thursday, well worth a visit. Shout out to Juliana and Jake!

Great pub, fair prices, community local.
Had Sunday lunch yesterday in the garden. The pork was delicious and beef was good. Veg all very good. Cutlery arrived almost 10 minutes after the food which wasn’t ideal. Surprised at the toilets men’s & women’s as they were run down and not very clean.
Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere!
Had the Sunday lunch nut roast - not the best to be honest. Everything was overcooked which meant a dry, almost burnt, nut roast and Yorkshire pudding, and soggy veg. Shame as the place had been recommended - maybe the midweek chef is better?
I had the apple pork burger and chips it was ok, but nothing really to write home about. The pork was well done and the cheddar too strong a taste for my liking.
