Full disclosure - prior to Legra Tap opening I’d long been a fan of Black Circus Food who run the kitchen, and of LOS Brewery and it’s beers. The two joining forces to open a pub is a stroke of genius. Great selection of beers, and there’s always some limited edition ones too. The menu changes up frequently - but some staples are must-haves. The tacos are amazing, loaded fries, and the Mac and cheese. Great vibe, quick table service too.
Artisan beer and mexican taquitos and fries yes, it was absolutely delicious combo Definitely kids friendly and pets too‼Great Fantastic service helpful, friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back and recommend‼
Great Sunday lunch with family. Excellent food, tasted home made - great Beef Shin Wellington and vegetables. Friendly service. Few menu choices for a main meal and quite pricey for a local restaurant. Good children's menu. Prices a little misleading - we thought the main course cost included dessert as they weren't priced separately. Despite all this we would return and would like to try the snack menu which looks amazing!
I had heard good things about this place and they certainly delivered. Fantastic Beef Wellington Roast, and all the sides were so delicious. Will definitely be returning. Great service and drinks too. Suitable for children too, they have highchairs and a children's menu. Looking forward to returning.
Visited a couple of weeks ago and felt that the food was not the same quality as when the bar opened but thought we would try again. Drinks and atmosphere were good but the food is now overpriced for the quality. Too much sauce etc to cover up the lack of filling in the tacos and again too much sauce on the nachos to disguise the lack of cheese and other ingredients you would expect. Shin of beef sub was ok but the roll didn't seem to complement the plate. So disappointing as it was good to have a local pub within easy walking distance.
Great local bar/kitchen, owned and operated by a local leigh on sea brewery. Fantastic flavoursome food , simple but tasty. An extensive range of micro brewery beers not your usual pub selection. Now open until 11pm at weekends and table service only, so no bar to lean on‍get in early early or reserve a table. Recommended Possibly the busiest venue on a Saturday evening in the area
When two such names as Leigh on Sea Brewery and Black Circus Food collide you know you've got a total winner. There's always an incredible menu on offer that's supported by wonderful beers! Service is always second to none too
Excited to visit the new venue, a partnership between the Leigh in Sea brewery and Black Circus kitchen. The beer is top notch as always and the food is fresh, delicious and generous. Great atmosphere and excellent service, recommend you book a table as it's absolutely packed, unsurprisingly.
Great choice of craft beers and though we only had bar snacks..nachos / fries etc, the food was good , overall a vast improvement on the previous establishment would highly recommend. Will return to try the burgers etc.
Superb craft beer establishment that can't be pigeon-holed as a pub or restaurant but does both really well. Awesome beers, tasty menu with lovely staff and atmosphere.
