From the outside I almost dismissed going in to this pub but from the moment I went in the staff and the customers were all so friendly. I had my very first Guinness here which certainly wasn't my last either. We started our night here before walking along the river and ending back here, but upstairs, watching a live fiddle and guitar act. My girlfriend and I were singing out loud and dancing in our seat experiencing one of the most memorable experiences of Dublin. If I ever visit Dublin again this will be one of my first stops.
Really great old Irish pub, very friendly service and reasonably priced beers, food was excellent, definitely recommend a visit
Nice little battle cruiser. Pint excellent, bit pricey but worth it. On the edge of temple bar beside the river liffey. Staff and service excellent. Upstairs music lounge filled with tourists, more expensive but nice atmosphere. Worth a visit.
I was here just about everyday of trip great little pub, Shawn and Bobby are great guys. Thanks for making me feel welcome. Hope to see yall again...
Great atmosphere, the music was nice . Staff upstairs was really friendly . I really recommend it
Everything you could hope for in an Irish pub! First one we ever visited in Ireland and it was perfect. Service was excellent, friendly, fast, delicious food, excellent Guinness...a relaxing cozy atmosphere that promoted comradery. Friendly people despite the dreary conditions outside. We will be back!! Cannot reccomend this enough nor say enough good things about it! Even the big burly bartenders were so soft and sweet to my young daughter with me. Just amazing.
Authentic Irish pub right across from the Ha'penny Bridge. Met a lot of great locals in here. No frills. Great live music.
Pub never disappoints, alway make a visit this pub when in Dublin. Staff very welcoming and pleasant.
Dropped in here on bank holiday with friends for a few and it was grand. Full enough but not jammed. We got the last table. Good service, city centre prices of course! Better than we expected as we ducked in out of the rain. Decent enough range of drinks and nice mix of tourists and locals
6.30 for a great pint of Guinness. Looks like it could be a good GAA pub in the summer, on a Wednesday in January though it is still plenty of craic and a fine whiskey selection.
