Gym group in Ayr has just about every bit of gym kit you could think of, and it's open 24/7 most days of the year. It rarely gets too busy because there is plenty of space spread over two floors and the staff are usually on hand if you need any assistance. It must be the best gym in Ayrshire.
Amazing gym, plenty of equipment. Always clean and tidy. All of the staff extremely welcoming and helpful whenever you need them.
‘hyrox/functional’ area needs serious work done. 1 ski erg which sounds awful when using, 5 rowers of which 2 actually worked with the other ones having missing feet straps and not being held down against floor. The assault bikes seem to be the newest piece of equipment and are great! Found it frustrating how many people just left their plates on the sleds, lack of respect but this is common in commercial gyms.nnI do think it’s a bit of a reach to class this gym as being Hyrox affiliated as the Hyrox equipment is so worn out but will do the job I if you’re desperate. Pretty worn out gym in general and with a lack of commercial gyms in Ayrshire, it is definitely due a revamp. Confused by the precious 5 star requests tbh! PureGym and JD Gyms are at a much higher standard and that’s saying something.
Great value for money. Lots of equipment. Always neat and tidy. Changing rooms are clean. It's a great option if you want a 247 basic gym with good parking etc.
