Amazing food and beautiful setting. My favourite pub now and only a 10 minute drive away. The food is always fresh and piping hot. Desserts are just to die for! The flowers are so cute on the deserts and drinks. Such a lovely touch. Will be coming back again and again Thankyou
Hadn't been to The Greyhound in years & chose it for a lunch date as it's very local. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals out we've had. Delicious main course & gorgeous dessert. Our server was excellent, attentive but not overly so & the whole place had a really nice feel to it. It's also really dog friendly. I would highly recommend this pub.
A lovely pub in rural Wiltshire. We were in Bromham visiting friends so called into the Greyhound. A friendly welcome from staff, locals & dogs! Good range of beers... the high street brands but also local breweries, which was great to see & try. Seems to be focused on being a restaurant as much as a pub.. can't comment on their food as we didn't eat but it smelt great. Reassuringly they keep some tables for pub customers, so well balanced and felt welcome.
This place is a must, the food was absolutely awesome probably the best rack of ribs anywhere, even better than True Reds in Manchester. But, my wife's slow cooked belly pork was a tad small and I thought was too much money for the quantity of food she got, shame! Everything was delicious as were the puds! The staff was very friendly and I couldn't fault a thing!
Always a pleasure to visit The Greyhound with my Mother and Grandmother. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming and hospitable. The menu is well considered with lots of fresh, tasty options. Not only that but dietary requirements have always been honored kindly. The building itself has been tastefully decorated with original architectural features still in place, including the old well in the back room! Highly recommend for families, couples and singles alike. At The Greyhound everyone is welcomed. Thank you
Amazing Sunday Roast! Being gluten free I always loose out with a Sunday roast… either the gravy, lack of a Yorkshire pudding or the cauliflower cheese isn’t gluten free. Not this time! The member of staff that looked after us checked with the chef and was very knowledgeable. Everything was available! The delivery of our food was quick and very hot! It’s my absolute favourite place to go for a Sunday roast. We’ve been several times and I’m spoilt for choice. Almost everything on the menu can be adjusted for gluten free. There’s all so a great choice of puddings too. Overall a great experience with friendly staff and atmosphere.
We visited for a Sunday lunch, the pub is very nice inside with a nice atmosphere. Two of us had the beef which was nice but the other two had pork and said it was slightly overcooked and the crackling size wasn't big enough. We had enough veg for the 4 of us but the cauliflower cheese was very small for 4 so we asked for another which we were charged for. Wine price was also pretty high a large wine was just under 12 pounds. Very good service though and the actual meal price was ok.
Lovely friendly pub with a great menu. Super staff and the work experience lad was doing well on his 1st day. Had lunch here with friends and we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Definitely will return and recommendFood: 5/5
A visitor's to the area we checked Google recommendations. What a delightful experience we had and were not disappointed. Even better the locals were friendly too! Thank you Greyhound for your excellent menu and cuisine. We will be back again one day. Parking: Ok so we drove past the pub without realising it was there on a side street by a car park. Oops turned back, parked easily and were greeted by a friendly tabby cat.
My pal and I randomly ended up in this pub just for a drink, but the lovely atmosphere made us stay longer than we planned. Food time! They have an excellent menu with some thing for every one but we both went for the classic burger and chips as they tempted us with a new Jack Daniels sauce that they had just made. My god it was the best sauce I have ever had, we ordered more of it. The burger and chips were gorgeous too. Now I’m not a desert man but enjoying the atmosphere and tasting the quality of the meal I was tempted. I asked the waitress what her favourite was and she replied “the raspberry Millefeuille” I had never had one before so ordered it. Oh my god it was amazing. I’ve told every one it’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to return with my whole family to celebrate my mums birthday. 5 stars on all fronts.
