Food was tasty and cooked nicely. Don't know if we're first customers or if it had been a quiet shift but the atmosphere was a bit awkward. This is not the normal for this business, normally very friendly and happy. Still going back. Parking: There are a few parking spaces outside the property, but on busy nights, the parking is really bad, parking on both sides and sometimes blocking the neighbourhoods drive ways. Don't try and park at the pub unless you have a drink, you'll be charged with a fine. Wheelchair accessibility: One step up to main doors but I believe they have another door with ram or have a ram available, as have seen wheelchair users inside establishment.
Really good quality but prices are very high, £7.80 for fish, a large chips £4.50. I know things have gone up but it's a good job it tastes good !Food: 4/5
I've enjoyed some nice kebabs from this local chippy every once in a while over many years, however, the way in which they serve the kebabs now and take orders for them has changed a lot since the pandemic but it still remains the same even though the pandemic is now over, and the level of personal service in this chippy seems now to have gone badly downhill. And it seems be be matched too by a general decline in the quality of the food they dish up - not just their kebabs but also their fish & chips. I didn't enjoy either of the last couple of meals I've had from there as both the quality of the food and the service were well below their old standard; and I don't think I'll be using it again in the near future.
Probably the best kebab and chips I have ever had. The best fish I have ever eaten. The kebab is nice and thin and melts in your mouth. The fish is crispy and giant. I don’t think there’s a chip shop thats better, personally I could eat it everyday. See you soon. I really enjoyed my food. X

First time here and it was absolutely delicious, the fish was light and fluffy and no thick grease it was very tasty. I’ve been put off by fish and chips Form the over priced lack of quality about nowadays but decided to come on recommendation it did not disappoint 10 stars if I could. Parking: Could park in front of shop no hassles
£8.80 for fish and chips, i have to say this is the worst fish i have ever tried, it was flakey and the smell and taste coming off of it was horrible, the curry sauce tasted sweet, almost like they have dropped a bag of sugar in it, will not be coming back!!
£6.10!! for just 2 pieces of southern fried chicken and chips. Absolute chancers. Even if you can stomach the price let's hope you can stomach the wait time for your order. Well over 2 hours when it should of been 1 hour and then I had to ring them to find out if they were still waiting for the chicken to grow. Completely forgot about my order. Unfortunately going down hill rapid or couldn't care less.

Zero stars if I could. Absolutely rubbish. No acknowledgement walking in for ages, £4.20 large chips, she served me the size of a small, regular at best. She's daydreaming looking out the front door, caking them in salt, got home and threw them in the bin after trying my bag of small salt and undercooked expensive chips. I walked out last time after waiting 5mins with no acknowledgement but decided to try. Rowood chippy is better.
