Stubbled across this hidden gem. Down an alley way from the main road the place is set back so you cannot immediately see it. We visited after a walk in the Peak District with our baby and was perfect. Staff were friendly and accommodating, high chairs provided and hot water.nPlenty of choice of beers and plenty on new ones which aren’t very common. Perfect for a beer lover.nThe pub is also a restaurant and looked like it had been recently refurbished with modern stylish decor.nOther guests were also friendly with a few locals taking time to chat and interact with ourselves and our baby.nHighly recommend a visit.
Great food staff were brilliant service exceptionally helpful can't fault the place. It was quiet but lovely. Catering for 11 people all served efficiently
Just off the main drag in Ashbourne so it was full of locals on a Friday night. Everyone seemed to be having a good time.nnWe had a really nice meal from a very interesting and thoughtfully created menu.nnAll the staff were very friendly and seemed happy to be working there - and so made me feel like a valued customer.nnWill definitely be back for more good times and good food.
We visited just after Christmas and had the Wednesday steak dinner offer. 2 steak dinners with mash or chunky chips and a bottle of wine for £50. It was delicious and very well presented. The service was very good, along with the atmosphere. We will return as we really enjoyed our visit.
Omg. I’ve just demolished the best roast beef sandwich Ive ever had in my life. And I’m a fat 51 year old so I’ve had a lot of roast beef sandwiches in my time. Epic.
