This was my first Wetherspoons experience and it was good, but has room for improvement. After using the app to order the food, it arrived 9mins after ordering and we were pleased with the food. It was a busy breakfast service, and the staff coped really well with the demand. The staff were really helpful, however, not all of them had visible name badges, so it is impossible to leave positive comments regarding the service from some of the staff. The exterior of the venue is looking tired and in need of attention. However, we will be returning at a later date to eat again.
Food was very competitively priced ss with any Wetherspoosn. Steak and chips was exactly that. Ain't no salad. Ordering on the app was rather easy and made up for the fact that it's a glorified outdoor car park. The seagulls provided the entertainment, swooping down and gobblingup the left over chips. Respect to the staff for dealing with all the rumbumptious clientele. They serve Leffe which gives them an extra star.
A nice warm welcoming place to have a bite to eat and drink. Not too far from the beach and well worth the visit. Nice friendly service and food came out really a quickly along with starters. Open on6a Monday as quite a few pubs and restaurants may not be on a Monday.
You can't go wrong with Wetherspoons, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. This one in Peranporth Cornwall is in a great location by the beach with an easily accessible carpark. The pub is quite spacious and the staff were very helpful, the service was great and using the app to order makes things so simple. Highly recommended.
Tim Martin owner of Wetherspoon Started free refills on hot drinks to help the homeless community. They also have electric points all over there pubs for charging phones. This not only helps the homeless community but also retired people who are limited to low paid state pensions. All drinks are very reasonably priced and bye far the cheapest place to drink. I’m walking the 12,000 mile uk coast to raise awareness of mental health and homelessness. Helping homeless people as I go. ‍
What can you say about a 'spoons, it does what it says on the tin! Nice beer and food at great prices, always pop in for an early Breaky before the tourists arrive & take over the town in the summer, much more relaxed outside school holidays. Can get rammed in the evening during the holidays and seems understaffed at this point. That said, the staff very polite and efficient, but can be over worked, still highly recommended
Must be the worst undog friendly place bearing in mind it's next to a beach that is dog friendly. Even though it has an outdoor seating area your dog is not welcomed. So if you are out with your dog don't go there.
Great pub, not like the old pub which I remember many years ago with many rooms with open fires. Both hold good memories. Service is good, parking is chargeable, drinks are good and food is what you'd expect from wetherspoon. Still go back when I'm there. Its not the dearest around and it is pleasant to be in. Lot of locals go in, so very popular.
Beautiful food... excellent staff - very friendly and accommodating for my elderly disabled Grandad... Lovely décor and very clean. Our only complaint was that the breakfast wasn't very warm this morning, albeit very very tasty
Can't fault it very good food ,quick service nice staff we will be back .
