Fantastic freshly prepared burgers with lots of different tasty options available. Sauces and buns are also made on site with no additives. We tried two of the most popular burgers on the menu beef and chicken and had to upgrade to the dirty fries!
Absolutely sensational burger joint - there is no other word for it. The best burger I've ever had, fries both plain and dirty to die for and excellent bottomless softs. Staff were still prepping for lunch when we arrived but the service was prompt once we had ordered. A strong recommend for anyone visiting Cardiff - it's not the cheapest but absolutely worth it. The restaurant is self-service in terms of ordering either on their website or using the tablets in -store, but staff are around if you have any questions Vegetarian options: Full range of vegetarian and vegan options available as part of main menu
Had lunch here hungover and safe to say it cured me. Wide vegan and veggie options, and the veggie patty is vegan and delicious. Chips were cooked to perfection and the garlic mayo was amazing. I recommend here if you're looking for lunch somewhere or a quick meal in the evening
Saw really great reviews for this place so decided to go when I went to Cardiff for a weekend, however was slightly disappointed. The quality of the food is good, chicken burgers are better than the beef for sure and the dirty fries are actually really good! But I wouldn't say this is worth what it costs, I paid £40 for a Burger + Chips for 2 people and only one drink. It's satisfactory but not the best like some others have said.
Stunning burgers here. Fries always seasoned to perfection. Local produce too. Also easily customisable, if you want to add anything or remove anything it’s no problem. Top place for a top burger Recommended dishesBurger and Chips, Dirty Fries, John Wayne Burger
Unreal. What a cool pace. The food is Amazing. You got to try the cheese and marmite chips blimey .. best chips I’ve ever had. Burger was so good also .
The best place to get a burger in Cardiff city centre, hands down. Don't even consider a chain when these guys have a decent sized venue behind St David's Centre! Greeted with a smile, menus and how to order touch screens or online if you fancy by the assistant, who recommended some mulled wine I would have obliged but I fall asleep after one and I had things to do!. You can tell that the staff enjoy working here and the atmosphere was unhurried, relaxed yet the food arrived fairly promptly. Clean tables, plenty of room and plenty of extra condiments, napkins etc at a fixings station on the wall nearest the pass. This time I had a Chicken Hula Hula burger which has grilled pineapple, mozzarella and a mango sauce amongst other toppings over grilled chicken in a fluffy and fresh brioche bun. Absolutely delicious, juicy, packed with flavour. Chips were fresh, hot, umami delicious and somehow I demolished the lot. My mum ordered herself the kids beef burger meal which was perfect for a smaller appetite. Everything they make is as locally sourced/Welsh as possible. The toppings are ALL delicious, particularly the bacon and the cheese sauce for chips is to die for. Bottomless soda using special syrups are delicious, not too sweet and the flavours are really special try the cherry Bakewell soda! Yum yum yum, in my tum. Super tidy. Vegetarian options: The menu includes a plethora of options for vegetarian and vegan diets, in fact I'd say there were just as many options in non meat as there are with meat which is fantastic. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for pushchairs and prams, kids meals are actually quite large and they do Fruit Shoots which is perfect for my son who equates eating out with getting a Fruit Shoot! and there are plenty of options for kids with burgers beef, chicken, veggie, vegan, hash browns, cheesy fries, all manner of dips that will cater for the pickiest of kids. Toilet is large enough to accommodate a pram or pushchair one step up to toilet area.
The burger was very good. The skin on fries were good however the topping of bacon was overcooked and the cheese was plasticy. I had a burger, fries with cheese and chips and a drink and it was £20!!!!! Now I understand it is near to the center of Cardiff, however the plates, cups and cutlery are all cardboard meaning with the "plate" especially the cheese makes it soggy and fairly gross. Also it is 'self service', so you use the till yourself and pour your own drinks. I don't think you can justify £20 per head when there is no table service and no real plates or cutlery.
Had an amazing time at The Grazing Shed! Their burgers are AMAZING, the Dirty fries and Halo Fries are AMAZING, and their staff were extremely kind. We were visiting from Bristol and we choose this place for our lunch… we feel so lucky that we did! Please make yourself a favour and pay them a visit. 10 out of 10
Went here for dinner on our last day in Cardiff. There are plenty of option's when you go in, its not just Beef and Chicken but also Lamb along side vegetarian and Vegan option. The Grazing shed shows the providence of the meets and syrups with pictures of the farmers and manufactures. The restaurant is self service and the kitchen brings out the order. I went for the John Wayne with a Strawberry Milshake a cheese fries. The fries were steaming when they arrive in most chains they come out limp and like warm. The burger was well cooked and lots of flavour. This place is well worth a visit if your in Cardiff Vegetarian options: The Grazing She'd has number of both Vegetarian and Vegan options on the menu
