Chicken Cottage

Used to be very good halal restaurant now days reviews are bad still their half grilled chicken, chicken burger, chicken chips and other menus are recommended if they still sell honey in corn must try item. Their salad and chilli sauce also good. You got to wait after your order if they cook you fresh it's annoying but worth it over all budget restaurant affordable for all.

The food smells and tastes like nothing L. The larger chicken potions were raw. Chips looked golden and good, but had a strange taste like they were cooked in old oil. Looking forward to sucking the tomato sauce from sachet - That was like nothing as well. The chicken is so barely warmed it was cold in three minutes. This used to be a top place when we were young....so sad that it's as bad as it is now.

Amazing fried chicken, good fries, low prices, but please, keep clean floor and tables.

Ordered chicken burger meals, literally got bread, fries, and drink... Chicken fillet was so thin, hard, and not even 1/2 the size of the bun. When I complained the man in St Mary St said I know chicken is too small, can't do anything and was smiling, no apology, did not offer to fix problem, disgusting service. Would never go back again. Waste of food and money.

One of my Absolute favourites! I've had a many of good meals from this Fantastic place. Staff are brilliant and very helpful! My Night shifts are much better because of them 10/10

Very oil chicken with no flavour in the chicken itself, however the skin was crispy and tasted okay, the chips were okay but I tasted old oil wasn’t very happy, never ordering again.

I don’t know about Cardiff but in comparison to London it is pretty poor, the strips were overcooked, and had the same batter as the wings. I can comfortably say the nicest thing or the megabox meal £6.99 for fillet burger 2 wings, 2 strips and chips and drinkgod I know it was cheap was the Pepsi :D

Had food from here before which was good but today Got food and it was overcooked it was then replaced with undecooked cant you cook chicken ? Change ur "chef" what a joke london branch so much better and wont risk food poisoning avoid

3.5/5 - it's decent, burgers are nice, but they have crappy little off brand ketchup and mayo sachets and they charge 50p to pay on card.

The food was ordered via delivery, it arrived the chips were cold and squashed together. I ordered 2 deluxe meals, in which one of the meals the side never arrived I paid £7.99 for basically a chicken burger and stale chips which is ridiculous. On both order they got the drinks wrong. The lettuce in the burger was brown in colour. Safe to say I will never order from here again.
