Had lunch here the veg roast was delightful As was the veg served with the roast. The carrot was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Good choice of gins and a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend if in the area. Booking a table is advisable.Recommended dishesChicken Roast
The Granville is our "local" pub/restaurant and it never disappoints. They are always busy so occasionally the service can be a little slow but this is made up for in spades by the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The gluten free offerings are also good, especially the fish in batter. Staff are always friendly and they have good offers on frequently. Parking: Ample onsite parking free Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options
Pretty large Shepherd Neame pub with bar and restaurant areas and a lovely open fire. Popped in for dinner while staying nearby, it was quiet 2nd Jan! but food and staff really good.Food: 4/5
Lovely 3 course lunch. I would highly recommend the tempura cauliflower as well as the leek and cheese macaroni. I was disappointed with the cookie dough dessert, whilst there was nothing wrong with it, it was different to the description on the menu so not what I was expecting. However, the starter and main course and friendly staff meant we still left very happy and very full!
I love authentic atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you for delicious steaks.Food: 5/5
10 of us came here for the festive menu for my husbands work do. It was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious all had clean plates! Service very friendly and accommodating, we all really enjoyed ourselves and thoroughly recommend for groups or couples. Great atmosphere.
Really nice lunch, chef clearly knows his trade .... my Dad and I arrived an hour earlier than our booking but we were welcomed in and tried the steak and kidney, and chicken and mushroom pies.... served with buttered cabbage and gratin dauphinois.... Hot, tasty and a decent but not overly large portion. Good service from friendly and efficient staff who all had a smile on their face. Looks like a happy team which is always a good sign. Have been before, will do so again.
Sunday roast was delicious, very fast service , great food and lovely atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Use to come here a lot for Sunday roast and thought we would try a Burger Night. It was ok. Had the chicken burger but just wasn’t blown away. Fairly straight forward food and always good to not have to do the washing up at home but won’t rush back for Burger Night. Should add that the staff are super friendly and attentive.
The food varied in quality, some dishes were lovely but others, like the cottage pie were very dry. Service was fab and it is a lovely venue. Big car park. They do let dogs in, so worrying for anyone, like me, who has asthma.Food: 3/5
