Saturday afternoon, sunny beer garden, fab atmosphere. We ordered 3 for £13 snacks and they were delicious. Chicken tacos, amazing sausage rolls and breaded mushrooms topped with a cold beer and rose blush x The lady in red dress was very friendly and great customer service. This pub is improving well done everyone not easy to turn things around and it is working. I found the staff friendly with a warm atmosphere. Food was pretty good tooFood: 4/5
Staff very welcoming. Food comes out in good portions and good quality. Few TVs around pub to watch football. Prices very reasonable. Pet friendly on one side of bar. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
OK pub but seemed like the roast was made up of Aunt Bessie's from the freezer. Had the duo roast and didn't think their was enough meat a finely cut slip of beef and the same of turkey. Also asked for pigs in blankets on the side paid £1.50 and received 2. It all tasted fine but on the whole just felt like a poor showing.Food: 1/5
Good refurb apparently hundreds of thousands spent but no idea of how to create what a pub should be like on a Saturday night. Lights far too bright and music too quiet. Please tell the well meaning staff where the dimmer and volume knobs are. Pub really quiet; Greene King need to flyer the local area which is very populated saying the pub is open. Maybe NHS discount to get the medics in.

Christmas lunch with work colleagues and some very hot and tasty food served up. Friendly staff and cozy feel. Not sure the mobile phone connected to the speaker system was the best choice of DJ. Christmas songs with the odd interruption of message tone on offer.
