Great pub grub and service

Nice small hotel / bar, £60 for the night and the bar had a lovely open fire to sit by enjoying a pint with food.

We stayed at Slipperfield cottage  in the lovely little village of West Linton. Our host suggested we eat here and very pleased we did. Decent sized portions  not expensive   good beer and friendly staff.

We had lunch latish 2pm but 2 items on the menu were not available. Staff friendly. We had a problem and they were kind enough to not charge us for one meal. Had several meals since. All excellent.

Great little pub. Formal bar, public bar, outside space. Live music, pool and good beer and friendly locals.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Excellent food, wonderful people and pet friendly. I can recommend this Hotel.

Love this place. Warm and friendly staff, homely atmosphere and right guid food

Really lovely lunch. Unplanned visit on route to Edinburgh.  Great Steak & Ale Pie with lovely crunchy vegetables.  A small menu.  This is not a criticism as everything was freshly cooked.  Very friendly staff, service with a smile and made to feel welcome.
