Great selection of local beer - many in cans so easier to take home as a souvenir you can enjoy later. Prices aren’t “cheap” but they have some very high quality breweries represented and the staff knew quite a bit about them - got some hopefully good reservations.
What a lovely little shop, if you want to try something a little different or have a special occasion. Then this is the story to buy your drinks from, they have a large range for every budget. The best part is that the staff know all about the drinks they sell and can help with recommendations.
The people that work there do a great job helping you pick what you might like. They have a few that you can try before you commit to buying. Their recommendations are good.
Nice staff and adequate selection of whiskies. A bit hard to find the whisky part of the shop. Either ask at the wine and beer shop or look for a stairs to go down under the street level.
Very good place for both beer and wine enthusiasts. The man working there was very friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about what he does. Good range of more out-there beers on offer, as well as lots of local ones.
In town this morning so was able to pop into the wine shop to pick up a couple of bottles. Great selection and great service. Thank you.
What a place!! If you love spirits of all kinds get here! An amazing selection of whisky, rums, gins, liquors... everything!! The staff are super helpful and they have a lot of things available to try if you're unsure of what styles of whisky you like.
Stopped in for about a 48 hour layover and was referred here by our driver from the airport. These guys know their Scotch; great staff, super friendly and good prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Fantastic service from Sarah? today in helping me expand my knowledge of the component parts of a negroni. The shop had a wide range of bittering spirits a change from campari, and many types and origins of vermouths. Settling on Luxardo bitter and Cocchi Torino, in addition to orange bitters, I was very happy and quite satisfied with my purchases. Sarah? was very knowledgeable, and I thank them very much for their assistance.
Always a great experience with very helpful staff, some great samples on the counter to try before you buy and their selection is fantastic too!
