Story

Opened Summer 2013! Sunderland's first all-vegetarian cafe! All our bakes are vegan and we often have "no gluten" options too, and will try to accommodate other special dietary requirements where possible. Nut allergy sufferers are advised that, due to the limitations of our small kitchen, all food prepared may contain traces of nuts.

Visited here before a meeting in the City. Excellent full breakfast in a quaint setting. Good selection of books and magazines to take a look at whilst waiting for the food. And a fine selection of herbal teas. The staff team were rushed off their feet and cool to see a cafe with some alternative selection of nourishment.

Online communication was great. Staff really friendly. Food was sensational! Really enjoyed every bite -  will definitely be going back 

Regularly get food from here for lunch and always delicious. We love the chef and we get all our celebration cakes made from him! Voodoo cakes on Instagram. Cute little place and lovely staff

Fab cafe! Super tasty food with no rival anywhere near the quality of food they make here. Brilliant weekly specials to tempt you and fantastic cakes to treat yourself with. Happy eats!

have not had Rocky road for years and years now so to stumble upon a vegan cafe while visiting sunderland and spotted this bad boy amongst all the vegan treats I was in heaven!. went back again and got a delicious extra large slice of lemon cake! lovley staff. lovley food. lovley place! RECOMMENDED #NORTHEASTVEGANS

Great coffee, hot choc and cakes. Small but Fantastic place worth a visit. Lots of vegan veggie gluten free choices.
