Very easy to book up On arrival all the staff was great a friendly. The price for the carvery was great value and quality was exceptional. It is a very family orientated place so expect it to be loud and full of young children
I have been fortunate to go here for lunch with my friends for a carvery. It is first class and the staff are friendly and welcoming only slight fault no cauliflower but can live with that as roast parsnips and meat are to die for. Looking forward to next visit.
Came here as another birthday treat. We all had the carvery as there had been some great reviews about it. I gave it 6/10 It was cold inside through the duration of the meal, which we all found uncomfortable. The carvery meat and some of the veg was really nice but the roast potatoes/parsnips were chewy, hard and crunchy. Maybe we were just unlucky that night!
Good pub to have a decent carvery ,but house keeping is a bit to be desired, been their every Sunday last 4 weeks and they never have any apple crumble left, went their last night still none, only desert they had left out of a choice of 6 was one that was not even on the menu. The manager knows they keep running out but doesn’t order extra to compensate, bad management.
One of my favourite ones in Redditch! I love this place. Perfect pub to go to with family for nice homemade food. I've never been disappointed with the carvery at the Golden Goose. Simply the best!
Impromptu decision to visit as we were in the area - what a great find. All the staff were friendly, carvery quality is good, great value for moneyespecially with today's significant, but understandable increases. The atmosphere reflected the real diversity of the customer base, which helped us feel even more relaxed, comfortable and welcomed - everyone is welcome. We will return
Delicious food and a decent serving of meat. Good choice of veg, although there was no cauliflower cheese or broccoli! The staff are friendly and down to earth . We went to another local carvery for a change last week. It was more expensive and not much meat and a poor show of vegetables. The staff looked fed up. So, Welldone The Goose. It was Sunday night and packed. That says it all. Thank you.
Whet for friday lunch found the staff very friendly,but the pub was not very warm, the food on the carvery was nice and hot but the plates were only just warm yet they give you a wood plate holder because the plates are hot but mine was not i would give this meal 7/10.the price of the carvery was good
Negatives: - long wait for carvery even though person was stood there - weighed out the meat which was minimal - Not much veg selection - dirty, broken toilets - unusable Positives: - food was nice! - Good value - friendly service
Myself my partner and our son came to your lovely pub this Sunday afternoon, the food and staff was amazing. Many thanks to Donna and Aaron as these 2 made our visit there remarkable. Thanks again guys, the Goode family x
