We stumbled across this little gem after a walk and I'm glad we did. The food was delicious, very tasty. The place itself had a great atmosphere, very warm and welcoming its not the cheapest place to eat in the area but its well worth it. I can't wait to go back.

Just had a really tasty Mediterranean Tart with Thyme oil dressing. Delicious and very filling. Followed by Apple pie and custard + ice cream. Really well cooked - very tasty food. Would highly recommend the Golden Ball for food. Good service, very friendly 👍

We love this place. The food is excellent and so is the service. It's cosy with a fire and rustic wooden tables. Very comfortable. The food is well priced, not too expensive, mid price range, but for the excellent quality It's worth it. Lovely setting as well with a large car park.

Excellent food, surroundings, food and staff. Amazing evening. Tilly was the most fabulous waitress EVER !! Nothing was too much trouble. She took customer service to the next level !! 10/10 !!

Small, quaint country pub with high standards, clean decoration and relaxing atmosphere. The food is nice and follows an “up market restaurant” style with its presentation. Plenty of parking across from the pub too.
