I’ve previously had decent experiences here, but unfortunately my visit on 12/02/2026 at 20:59 was very disappointing.nnI intended to order a caramel frappuccino and politely asked if a little extra caramel could be added. I made it very clear that I was completely happy to pay any additional charge. However, I was told they “lose lots of money” and the request was refused outright. Even after repeating that I was more than willing to pay whatever the cost was, there was no flexibility, no alternative solution offered, and the interaction felt argumentative and unfriendly.nnBecause of this, I chose not to order the drink at all and instead purchased a Sweet Chilli Dip simply so I could leave feedback.nnWhat makes this more frustrating is that later the same evening I visited the Meadowhall Retail Park branch and received completely different service. I ordered two large caramel frappuccinos there and asked for extra caramel. Aisha, the staff member who served me, went above and beyond. She was polite, professional, accommodating, and even asked at the end, “Is there anything else I can help you with?” The service was smooth and genuinely customer-focused.nnI’ve added photos to show the comparison — the Meadowhall branch added extra caramel without hesitation and didn’t even charge me extra, yet the experience was friendly and positive. The contrast between the two branches was significant.nnI understand businesses have policies and costs to manage, but consistency in customer service matters. If something cannot be done, it should be explained professionally and respectfully. This visit felt unnecessarily dismissive, especially when I was offering to pay more.nnI hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.
I usually avoid negative reviews but as when we tried to do this the grown up way the shift manager rolled her eyes at our complaint I am going to be honest:nDespite it being basically dead every person who ordered had to chase up their order after a 45min wait before they even bothered to start putting it together. Our orders appeared on the screen and went. Why? Because we went to sit in rather than doing the drive through. Simple as that. If you go in as a customer rather than the drive through then you are seen as a second class citizen.nnOh, and every single order was wrong
The air con seems to be on a little too high in all restaurants atm, quite cold whilst eating & makes food cold faster. Just used the Canclow one, all 3 of us had Mc Muffins & hash browns. My muffin was actually so greasy the bottom of the muffin was soggy & I had to use two serviettes to soak it all up but, the other two were spot on
Went for a quick breakfast around 8am, wait was very short and easy access to self service machines. Food literally thrown at me by I assume the supervisor but was no straw no napkin’s. Went back supervisor and staff to busy talking amongst themselves to remotely bother about the customers, however lady that was doing floor sorted waiting customer and myself promptly when she seen us waiting. When is this quiet I really see no need for the food to be this greasy it’s disgusting. Extremely poor
Went in here the other morning about 7.30am to find one of the staff working in her pink pyjamas!! Absolutley disgusting and says it all to be honest. If I'd walked into work like that when I was in my twenties I'd have been sacked on the spot and laughed out of there. To me this just shows why we are all doomed. Completely unhygenic and unproffesional, I bet she hadn't even brushed her teeth, she'd clearly not had a wash! Everybody walking in had a look of disbelief when they saw her in the end i walked out of there I'm not eating anything she'd had her grubby little hands on. Totally unacceptable and completely pathetic that she was serving people food! Won't be going back.
