This bar is a hidden gem! The selfish part of me wishes to keep it that way so that when I go back I can enjoy the atmosphere and have the staffs full attention, but I honestly would love for people to experience the charm of this little bar and see the place thrive! The bar just feels luxurious, the furnishings soft and complimentary to the historic building. High ceilings, moody lighting and music from the dj adding to the weekend vibe without bursting your ear drums! The barman was charming, to call him just a barman is almost insulting, he is infact a genius. No pre mixed cocktails at this bar, each one was individually crafted with love and care and served with the same manner. If your favourite drink isn't on the menu, not a problem, talk to him and he will create it for you, ingredients permitted of course! The calling of 2 4 1 cocktails in other nearby bars maybe tempting but if you're looking for something a little bit more special, this little gem is for you. I am looking forward to going back and I thank you all for a wonderful evening.

Beautiful beautiful bar. Lovely surroundings and tasty cocktails

I fully recommend this bar, not only for drinks but also for coffee! The place inside is stunning, couches with all possible colours, romantic music, and if you are lucky enough to have the place for your own, the staff there gives you the opportunity to change the lights in the way you want for instance more romantic.

Nice enough layout and atmosphere but could do with some music in the background perhaps blues or swing would suit. Kerri & Achim were the staff, both very attentive and welcoming. Kerri's knowledge of the drinks and experimental nature with cocktails was brilliant, very interesting to watch and listen to

Fabulous. Compact yet intimate, pretentious yet inclusive. Attentive friendly staff. Felt comfortable to sit and have a cocktail on my own. Will visit again with friends!

Very ornate, nice bar.  Nice menu, however staff not so good. 3 tables with people sat at and 4 staff members on yet there were 3 dirty tables with empty drinks on, we weren’t greeted on arrival even though we walked past all 4 staff members in the bar then we were left waiting 15 mins without being acknowledged at all so left.  Wouldn’t recommend.

Came here for a private party. Cocktails expensive and not done well on our visit - don't order off menu, a caipirinha was firstly unknown, done badly by an obviously inexperienced bar person - redone, not well/right but drinkable, inexperienced barman was pretty much left on his own for quite a while. Also a charge was added to each cocktail for service,  so they are all more than they are priced in posh leather bound books. I'm happy to pay for a quality cocktail, these weren't. Wasn't impressed.

A beautiful building and should be a lovely place to have a drink but getting served is the challenge.... One girl who was clueless, another who seemed to be doing everything- drinks, orders from waiting staff, taking payments, etc. When you are serving cocktails, which of course take time, there has to be other staff who can serve. Won't go on a Friday evening again but will try at a quieter time to give a more objective review!

TOOK 30 mins for drinks, 6 people in the bar altogether!! Said they forgot about us!! When there’s 6 people here !!! No free drink or compensation just a sorry Thought they was going half way around the world for our drinks
