A lovely country pub. Friendly helpful staff, and the hot food smelled good, although we just had sandwiches sitting outside on their front lawn, which were pretty decent. They've got a good range of beers, and rooms upstairs (including one dog-friendly one) - intend to stay there next time we're in the area.

Nice pub. Good restaurant nice food. Rooms poor out dated poorly equipped no Wi-Fi rock hard bed, my wife and I didn't sleep a wink,

The whole experience from booking to checking out has been brilliant, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, food delicious, breakfast menu very good. We booked a standard room, this was situated in separate building overlooking a lovely garden area, the room was very clean, welcoming and comfortable, tea/coffee facilities in the room, bathroom very clean and lovely size, Maggie our Jack Russel was made to feel welcome, if you book with a dog it’s an extra £15. My only problem was with the tea bags.... Tetley, I’m a Yorkshire Tea drinker I like a strong brew lol, I will book again in the future, I’ll just bring my own tea bags lol

Had the most perfect weekend spotlessly clean and food to die for. Attention to detail and staff could not be any better. Would recommend the George & Dragon to everyone you will not be disappointed. Score 12 out of 10.
