What a surprise.
We've been drinking in this pub for a number of years, but had never tried their Sunday Lunch before yesterday, but it was excellent - the best I've had in a long time, including my own!. 
A choice of three meats - ours was gammon , beef or lamb - came with 2 Yorkshire puddings that were crisp and light and clearly not Aunt Bessie's, roast potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, carrots and a roast sweet potato and red onion mix. The meat was tender and the veg fresh not frozen and all of it cooked to perfection. Also included the price (£8.95) was your choice of dessert from a long list that left you spoilt for choice. Tremendous value and seriously the best Sunday roast in town.

Excellent fry up and friendly staff and toilets don't stink of piss. Weatherspoon type punters always comical
