The food here is excellent. Steaks cook just how you ask for it, and I love the cajun chicken, I would definitely recommend it again and again

Not bad, not great. The food was quite nice and the prices are low! Staff were friendly. Some items missing on the menu when it came to ordering. Car park is huge. The dining area is relatively tiny so not great for a large group, it has more of a drinkers pub feel rather than eating. One thing I noticed was when I left- turning right was hard because of the busy road.

The Gate had been iffy for years. But this has now changed, the food is wonderful and the service was exceptional. We are very pleased we tried the place again now it is under new management. Well done guys

Standard Marston's pub. Girl behind the bar was very nice. Quiet place for a drink.
