So today as part of a 13 mile walk we stopped at the Garlic Farm for some light refreshment.  We have visited many times but the cafe/restaurant has always been too full for us to get a table, so we just admired from the door.

Today we struck gold and managed to get a table on what was a very busy Saturday for them.  We order the special "Sandwich of the Day" and must admit we were blown away when the food arrived.  A sumptuous Salmon sandwich, with garlic puree and mature cheddar cheese.  Combine this with the artistic side salad and lovely french fries and you have a winner.  For drinks we just had a coke and a latte.  

The service was great and the aroma coming from the kitchen lovely.  What's also great about this place is the fact you sit only yards from all the garlic produce in the shop, so you can eye up your buying goals over a great meal.

Cost of the above was £9.95 a person and with drinks came to £24 so well worth the stop. We will certainly be visiting again as there is a tantalising visual food spectacle waiting to be eaten from what we saw.

One word - Visit!
