Having walked just over seven miles, was very pleased to find this pub/restaurant a pleasant relaxed atmosphere to kick off our walking boots and enjoy a Sunday lunch.
Good food at a very reasonable price and would definitely call again if we were in that neck of the woods.

This is a proper no frills PUB. Good beer and clientel are friendly, sociable and actually smile and speak to strangers and you can stand outside under cover. I came here as staff at nearby Monksbridge Farm were not at all interested in serving customers who only wanted a drink and not ice cream, cake, coffee or food which have higher profits.
