Fantastic meal again, already booked for Christmas , can't fault the place and staff. Left very full and happy, also dog friendly which is great for us. We don't dine out often but this is now our only go to place.
Myself and my Wife dropped in on the off chance that we could find a table. We were greeted, then seated by friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious and all came out hot, well presented and in a timely manor. The weighting staff were friendly and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit from start to finnish.Food: 5/5

Looking for a cavery dinner, this is a gem 3 roast carvery for £11.95 the gammon is juicy, pork with crackling and beef. The gravy is brill add your veg and yorkie, its a big plate. Good friendly service .
What can I say! The menu online is different from the one you have served as there is a daily specials menu. If you want to book which is advisable call the venue directly to secure your booking. Such a pleasant dinner, Seafood & Steak cooked to perfection and beautiful red wine. The staff serving us were very pleasant, welcoming and professional in there roles. I would absolutely visit again! We were all suitably stuffed! To skip dessert Kid-friendliness: Extensive children's menu and available. Parking: On street parking is available however limited. however limited. Wheelchair accessibility: The main part of the restaurant was all on a lower level. With a toilet accessible on the ground floor.
This really is a hidden gem. We ate here two nights in a row at the end of our stay, but would have been more had we found it sooner. The menu is varied with daily specials too. The steak is very tender, delightful. We also tried the lamb shank, Cajun chicken and the plaice, all beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts are also very good, well worth loosening your belt for. The staff are polite and friendly, the service impeccable. This restaurant is popular and has a buzz without being noisy, is busy without being rushed. Booking recommend
Excellent restaurant and food. Was able to cater last minute for a booking of 20 of us on a wet and windy day. Several of the party have dietary requirements including coeliacs, vegans, dairy frees and combinations of the same - no easy party to cater for but the Galley Bistro did so without fuss, offering alternatives where possible and all served with a smile! Would definitely recommend.
The staff were helpful & polite, service was all good, the pod that we sat in needed a good clean. As for my gally burger it was so tough I lost a filling. The vegan burger, I was told was not very tasty but that's not their fault.!
An excellent choice for my wife’s 60th birthday. The food and service were excellent with one exception, my wife found some staples in her prawn cocktail. This was quickly sorted and we were not charged for her meal. We have been several times before and will definitely go again.
