This place has had more owners than a temperamental greyhound, but I love it! Great beer garden with a decent playground for the kids, right on the canal - very picturesque. Decent selection of beers. Foods good. Give it a try.

Good company yes it's still good  company good food and now the spring is upon us get out walk the canal and stop at Milton Keynes best kept secret. You know if it's sunny the garden is sweet, if it's not so nice the cosey old pub will be sweeter for your company. 
If your looking for a place to call local and be social make this pub yours it's such a single friendly place and family orientated pub try it.

Was quiet when we went.  Bar staff had a good attitude and was engaging.

Drinks were a little overpriced and my gin and tonic should have been offered with cucumber or lime, not lemon.

Enjoyed the pork scratchings.

The pub as otherwise clean and well kept.

So, here's great customer service for you! Went to the Galleon Inn yesterday we celebrated my Dads 78th birthday. Booked the Galleon for 1pm. Lauren the manager calls to say 9 of the 10 strong staff have called in sick with the bug, and they can't serve food today. I say it's Dad's birthday, I had delivered a cake there this morning, Dads just arriving from London and Pen and Zac from Nuneaton. Is there not anything they can do? She says she'll call me back. Next thing is she calls to say the cleaner Caz will cover the bar, while she puts her chefs hat on for us and only stays open to serve our table! And they both did a wonderful job..and lush food. Hats off to them both!! You gotta get yourself a visit. The food was great, and the customer service was second to none. Well impressed.

A HUGE Thank You to everyone at The Galleon in Wolverton for a delicious and relaxing afternoon! Brilliant. The beer garden next to the canal is the perfect place to relax with drinks. It's very well laid out and clean. Later our meal in the restaurant was delicious - smothered chicken and then Eaton Mess, my faves! (Although it was hard to choose! We will be back to try the others.) Definitely recommending this to all my friends and family as the perfect place to meet up and be well looked after :) We love the chilled-out, friendly atmosphere. Next time I will take my dog as they are welcome in the garden and she would love it there too. Also there's live sports, excellent events, and space for functions.
