Cosy pub, nicely decorated. Super friendly service and great food. Portions were large, and for the sweet-toothed where do you even start with that dessert menu?
Wonderful service and food, last min decision to go out and they were very accommodating allowing our puppy in as well. I had mix grill which was best I've ever had and partner had a chicken pie on specials menu. Couldn't of been happier. Only regret I didn't take pic of the mains to add but here's the desserts we had. 5 star rating food quality, service, hygiene, parking, pet friendly
We have been coming here over the last 2yrs....in and out of the lockdowns ....both at lunchtimes in the lovely garden and early Sunday evenings. We have never had a bad meal let alone bad service. So friendly and always a good atmosphere, this pub is so quaint and has lots of nooks and crannies, so you can have privacy even though it may be busy. Finding a pub that does a decent roast and yes.....does lamb!! ...is difficult. But The Barn Owl does it all !!!!! Brilliant and well done....
Mother had fish and chips fish excellent big white flaky cod. I had the Mediterranean quiche which was very tasty. Warm welcome lovely staff friendly atmosphere. Disabled parking good. Would definitely recommend and go again.
The Staff amazing, welcoming and friendly, the pub part was busy but had a lovely feel.The room was clean and had a bonus of a night light in the bathroom so you didn't need to put on a light.The foid was amazing from the chef Andy. Out of the way although there is a housing estate now being built behind.
Lovely little inn with ample character lovely wood wood beams. Room was very comfortable cosy with all the mod cons. Very clean can't fault it will be staying here again. Plenty of free parking. Just a shame the restaurant was closed. Otherwise superb. My room was the Fox 10 out of 10
Very nice and cozy place, friendly staff and great food. They are dog friendly which is a big plus. The entire place looks very well Christmas decorated. Felt really comfortable. Will be back for sure
Not been there for some time but most impressed for a Christmas lunch on Friday with friends. Chose Hunters Chicken from lighter menu, lovely sweets too. Good choice, great price and quality food and Service in lovely welcoming festive surroundings. The service was good and the young waitress was very polite, pleasant and helpful. Will go again.
Been 18 years since I was last there. It's improved greatly,the toilets were clean and fresh, the food was delicious, the Badger ale superb, but the waiter Will and the chef went out of their way to cater for a patron with lactose and gluten intolerance. Thanks everyone.
