Crankshop helped me every step of the way with my 100% custom build, I didn’t know anything about bicycles before my bike was built only what colours I wanted, I got the frame which Crankshop helped me with which size to get as I had no idea and then they sourced all the parts and presented me with various options based on my budget and explained how it all works so I could make the decision on what I wanted before just spending my money which was awesome, they and very knowledgeable as the seat post and crank arms were perfect for my height for a comfortable ride which is something I never thought of and after it was built they spent some time with me hoping on and off my bike to set it up for my weight, and I couldn’t be happier with the bike or the service I was provided
I wish there were more stars I could add. Mat's knowledge, passion and friendliness is worth everything! Fixed my broken bike within a very short time frame with door to door service, options of card payment at door, with very reasonable prices. On a much needed break from work I came on holiday to the area for some mountain biking. Was having real problems with my gears and the chain kept coming off after poor servicing from a bike shop back home. Text Mat explaining I was on a biking holiday, with a non working bike and asked if he could help save my holiday. He came back to me that evening explaining that though busy he could squeeze me in first thing in the morning. 'He came to me' unbelievable, first thing the next morning, with a beaming smile and super relaxed demeanour. Sorted out the chain and gears and was very particular about getting things right. Kindly explained everything he was doing and in doing so taught me how to better understand my own bike. When asked if he could fit a dropper post and give me some recommendations to help with other challenges I was facing as a new rider, he watched me ride, recommended some new pedals as I was struggling with some of the steep local tracks and offered to adjust my seat for a more comfortable riding position to carry my untrained derrière. He kindly agreed to take the bike that day, fitted the parts the next day when they had arrived and kindly 'returned the bike to me' where I was camping, in time to fit in a ride on that day! Exceptional service, fantastic approach. Though I live 1.5 hrs away, I will only be using Mat for all my future servicing, upgrades and advice from here on in. I couldn't ask for more - thank you Mat.
