Just tucked into the worst food I’ve ever tasted, it was dreadful.. the chips were sharp and crusty, the sausage was the smallest sausage I’ve ever seen, the fish was burnt to a crisp and somehow tasted like cake?? The service was awful aswell, the man was ignorant and pushy and the two girls didn’t have a clue what they was doing, couldn’t even wrap up the food which resulted in it being cold. They had bad personal hygiene as they was both looked very grubby and if I had seen them before ordering my food I would have left. Will not be returning to this place as me and my group were very unsatisfied. Nobody should have to taste this food and should definitely not pay the prices they charge for it. If I could give zero stars I would, it needs to me shut down.
Great little chipper. Great deals to be got esp. at lunch time. Lovely chips and lovely fish. Pretty much unique in Dublin for selling battered Mars bars, Twixes etc. Can't recommend this place enough.
I had was hungry one evening and was told that the Fryery offers decent meals for a decent price. I had a kebab for 6 euros. It was definitely not the best in town and not the cheapest. I had a bigger and better kebab for 5 euros on the other side of the river close to Jervis shopping mall can't remeber the name of the place. I was asked if I wanted cheese I said yes. But rather than putting it in the kebab it couldn't fit I got it "on the side". The guy was pretty friendly though. Didn't try the burgers so can't comment. If you are hungry and are nearby give it a shot.
First little meal we had in dublin and sincerely it was very cheap but good, for this kind of joint. The service wasnt exactly very friendly but decent, and the prices and tasty food helped us brave the rain. Not too healthy and little greasy I fear, but good.
Great food and amazing service. Served fresh and hot with a smile. As a tourist I was very pleased with this local experience, and the best part is the fact that it was on groupon for a reasonably low price ! Worth the visit
For the price, it's very good but I found the batter very heavily deep fried. Not over done, but very thick and my stomach wasn't too happy afterwards after only finishing half of my fish and chips.
A hub of fish and chips expertise that suffers because of its location. Get down here and enjoy an immaculate take-away meal if you're within drunk walking distance. You won't be dissapointed, more impressed!
Why have Chip Baguettes on the menu but say you don't serve them anymore? Simply cross the item on the menu. And what chipper doesnt serve chips and baguettes? The service and atmosphere just seemed inefficient and awkward.
A wonderfully generous portion of fresh cod & chips meal, and an excellent quarter pounder with cheese burger. Great place for a quick satisfying meal!
I liked the double cheesburger and after we ordered 5 of them, they were nice enough to even throw in an extra order of fries. Great place.
