Best chippy in carrick! Let's remember folks. You want dinner and you decide to get takeaway. What's the difference because a lot of folk don't get it? Well the difference is you aren't cooking the food yourself and the attention and love and care put into preparing and cooking the food is out the window when it comes to folk not using common sense. The firary cooks all food as ordered. That means its not precooked. Its cooked just like you would do yourself standing in your kitchen at home. So please have some common sense and realize you won't get your food in 5 mins like you do elsewhere because we cook it to order and that's what makes the friary the best!

Food is of a high standard, very plesent staff, very good waiting area floor and work tops clean well organized serving system 😁

Had a 8oz burger from here, it was lovely. Their chips are also well cooked, dry and fluffy.

Excellent chippy, but be prepared to wait on your order. Everything is cooked to order, not a fast food place. Still if it's "chippy" you fancy , it's one of the best in Carrickfergus.
