Perfect place for a pit stop, situated in the Kent village of Graveney, just off National Cycle Route 1 cyclists, walkers, locals, children, pets welcome
Leading cycling pub and cycling cafe in Kent
We are an exciting and welcoming cycling venue in the heart of the Kent countryside – The Freewheel Pub and Cycling Cafe is not only an inviting pit stop for cyclists, walkers, families and locals to re-fuel and relax, but also has a fully-equipped workshop attached for both running repairs and scheduled servicing for all types of bicycle.
The brainchild of Adrian Oliver, founder of Kent-based CyclingAge, the organisation that delivers Bikeability for children in schools around Kent and adult cycling training. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome at The Freewheel Pub and Cycling cafe.
The Freewheel is situated just two minutes from National Cycle Route 1 which runs from Dover, throughout Kent and then north to Shetland. The first of it’s kind in Kent, The Freewheel cafe offers both locally sourced food and drink made to a very high standard at affordable prices.
We are a pet friendly pub and special treats are kept behind the bar for our canine friends.
We are able to cater for small and large groups, and if you are traveling by train we are just 10 mins cycle from Faversham Train station. If you would like any further info please call the pub on 01795 538143 or Adrian on 07939 658055
We look forward to seeing you soon
