Brilliant 10/10 stay here and use of their function room for a work event.nHighly recommend a stay here and/or going in for what is a good pint and high end/better quality pub food. I feels like I’m doing them an mis-justice by saying ‘pub food’ because that burger I had was exceptional.nOn another note the girls at the bar were lovely as were the staff at reception too plus, and most importantly Rory the owner went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great night, which we did.nDefinitely going back and have done twice now for a pint.nI’ll always be grateful to Rory for legendarily finding my missing mobile phone what a top geezza that lad is.
Had a great meal, locally sourced food and big enough to satisfy the biggest appetite. Friendly bar staff capable of multi tasking and maintaining a smile even under pressure it was quite busy when I was there had 2 functions and local trade to serve. I will be returning
Absolutely fantastic stay! The pub has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great food, and a brilliant selection of drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the rooms were spotless, cozy, and spacious. We LOVED it!
Good location, staff were friendl and helpful. Security issue- accidently went to the wrong door at first and to my surprise it opened and was already occupied. I tried the card for my room and it wouldn't work. Key replaced at reception and eventually got access to my room.nExpensive and lower quality compared to the chains in the area but did have availability when this were fully booked. Room was generally clean bar the bathroom grout and the rotting bathroom door frame. Shower head was missing gromets, flow was not the best.
Stopped here as a halfway point on a long journey to Cornwall and was so impressed by the place! The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and exceptional value for money. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant as well as our breakfast the following morning. The food was absolutely delicious! Quality food and drinks at really great prices with a good selection of meals on offer for both. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accomodating and the service was fast. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be stopping here again if ever in or near the area again! Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay :
