We booked a Birthday meal for 14 people.  Gail accommodated us and arranged everything so that our choices were met.  On the evening, Mary & her team of helpers made us so welcome and the food was lovely.  A really enjoyable evening.  Would highly recommend as a local, friendly venue.

what a shame.  lovely looking pub.  shame about young could not be bothered staff.  shame about food.  mine was Luke warm.  husband sent curry back as meat really tough.  had to wait 20 minutes for replacement.  by which time I had finished.  apologies were forthcoming.  overall a great shame.

I booked a table for some food ahead of arriving, a nice area was ready for me, my friends and kids along with the high chairs setup as requested earlier. Staff where friendly, happy to help and the food arrived well cooked and prepared in a timely manner. I would revisit in a heart beat!

The food was good but the service was erratic. My main course arrived long before anyone else on the table had their food and the side dish didn't arrive until the end. This meant my food was cold even though I went ahead and started early, and I had finished before the potatoes turned up.
