Good pub with a great atmosphere and a number of unique and interesting elements. Comfy snug seats and a restaurant downstairs. A little bit tardis.
Excellent real ale pub, amazing choice and well kept ale. Plenty of seating, a proper boozer. Friendly staff happy for me to sample a beer before purchase. Definitely one to check out if in Plymouth.
Great public house. Went lunchtime was not very busy. Really clean pub staff very welcoming. Huge array of beers mine was exceptional. Took my dog and straight away staff bought her water and a treat. I would definitely recommend.
A really nice, down to earth pub. No pretentious decorations, some really good ales as well as a good selection of whisky, gin, vodka, tequila - just a really nice pub doing a great job at being a pub. Service was really good, cheerful staff members, and not a long wait. This could be my new go to pub. Darts, a pub quiz, who could ask for more.
Great pub. Good selection of beer kept in excellent condition. Might be my favourite pub in Plymouth. Friendly staff who know their ale. Have an extra star *
My favourite local. Has some of my favourite drink choices, the snacks are on point and the staff are always friendly. Not to mention it’s super comfortable, toilets are always spotless and there is never trouble in there.
Great, proper pub. Very busy and staff were, perhaps consequently, less welcoming than usual. As ever, an excellent selection of ales, although tending, as is the modern trend, towards the lighter, hoppier varieties. Missing something akin to proper bitter like Bass, or Jail, I opted for Guinness, which was fine.
Always a lovely atmosphere and great selection of great ales and ciders Selection of sports being shown and poker on a Wednesday night 19:00 register 19.30 start
Great boozer. We had a couple in the Hyde Park and wandered down not expecting too much but really loved it. Stayed for a few and enjoyed a much cooler atmosphere than the Hyde Park. Staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Locals obviously appreciate this place and were a diverse and friendly bunch. Awesome pub. Well done all.
Good range of beers and ciders. Always been a great pub
