This Pub is in so many ways, like stepping back in time, to the mid 70s!
We Googled "Pubs near me" & out of four that we drove past after a burial, this was the only one actually open. Hence 4 astars.

Came here for Sunday lunch wife my wife, son and father. I have to say the other reviews are spot on. It’s a really friendly nice local pub that does good tasty home cooked good. This is not a fancy gastro pub but you get good tasty home cooked food at very reasonable prices. I don’t understand why the place wasn’t packed but then it’s a bit off the main road which may be why. I’d love to have this place round the corner from us in London as I’m tired of over priced “fancy” gastro pubs that have no community soul.
